I worked with a pupil at my main placement who was considered to be challenging in terms of their behaviour. The pupil was often disruptive in class and disengaged from lessons. They were eventually removed from the school. My alternative placement was at an alternative provision where this student had been moved to. I have continued to teach these pupils and have been able to dedicate more time and attention to them due to the nature of the setting. As a result they are beginning to thrive.
