‘I trained with WWLCSD as a drama teacher in 2021/22. Sarah and Sarah were fantastic and really supportive through the whole process and the rest of the trainees were equally as brilliant. We loved our Tuesday afternoon meetings where we would learn important skills that improved our practice, as well as being guided and encouraged through the training process. I secured a teaching job as a performing arts teacher in a high school and sixth form in the January of my training year, as well as taking on a head of house role in my second year. I love my job and there is nothing better than seeing the young people I work with improve and succeed. I strongly believe I would not have been able to do it without the brilliant mentoring in WWLCSD, from both Sarah and Sarah and my fantastic mentors in my two training schools.’
