My success story is the first teaching interview that I attended. The knowledge and experience that I have gained from WWLCSD ensured that I walked into the interview feeling confident about what makes a successful teacher. The experience within high quality Catholic schools meant that I had a varied toolkit of teaching and assessment to draw from for teaching the interview lesson. The outcome for this and the feedback given was that it was a strong lesson and interview which ultimately resulted in me being offered the position as permanent teacher of Science. The planning for this was thoroughly supported by my subject mentors, school mentors and of course, Sarah and Sarah, who run the course.
